God is truly amazing! I thank God for what each of you bring to my life and to the many lives that you touch on a daily basis. I wanted to let you all know that we have rescheduled the Men's Conference for Saturday, October 20! I knew that the September date was a stretch and I didn't want to over tax any of you, so I moved the date. It is my hope that you will not only participate in the event, invite others, but also help to plan the event! This event is for you... about you... and about men very much like you!
We have talked about the "Women on the Front Line", well now it is time for men to forge and create their own brand of ministry. Not taking anything away from the women, but brothers, we are lagging behind. Outside of Bishop Jakes' "ManPower" or "HEmotions" events, what other ministry opportunity has there been geared toward the hearts and needs of men? We must take up our rightful positions and walk in power! Join me!
You don't have to be up front, a preacher, or limited to the bus driver, or usher! The Body of Christ needs YOU--your talent, your time, and your treasure! You were made for such a time as this! Let's walk the walk!
Also, please mark your calendars with the next meeting dates together. I believe that God has something in these meetings for each of you... remember, "Iron sharpens iron" so you don't have any excuse to be DULL!
